History
- Raised by her single father; her mother left when she was too young to remember.
- Her father battled cancer throughout her childhood and, when she was 10, was informed that he had less than a year to live.
- Began her Pokémon journey when she was 11, under strong encouragement from her father. Her father arranged for her to work odd jobs with Professor Elm.
- The events of the first half of Crystal happened. Due to her quick domination of the Johto League and involvement in ridding the region of Team Rocket, she became well-known figure in media.
- During her battle for the Championship with Lance, the current Champion, she abruptly forfeited the match. Afterwords, she gave up her budding career as a professional Trainer. It took some years before the buzz surrounding her career died down.

She has never disclosed her reasons for giving it up, publicly or privately.
- Became estranged from her father.
- Went back to school, focusing on the science. Her eventual goal is to become a Pokémon researcher.
- Traveled abroad to study Pokémon in different environments with different professors.
- Her father, whom she was estranged with, passed away shortly after her sixteenth birthday. She was in Sinnoh at the time.
- Currently living in Ecruteak, slowly but surely working on a thesis. However, she often travels abroad to catch foreign Pokémon for Professor Elm and Professor Oak.

Personality
- Dreamy, and often lost in thought.
- Can’t seem to focus on conversations at hand.
- Meanders through life; it’s impossible to get her to hurry.
- Warm, kind, and generous with her affection.
- Perpetually in a state of calm. It’s nearly impossible to rattle her.
- Someone who is easy to open up to, but very difficult to get to know. Private when it comes to personal matters.
- Ruthlessly efficient and organized. Arranges things in groups of five.
- Fascinated by legends. Read: obsessed.
- Known disappearing for months on end with little to no communication.
- Notoriously late with all of her reports. It is something of a miracle that she still has her job.
- Completely uninterested in competitive battling.

Appearance
- Is always smiling. Always.
- Has a fastidiously tidy appearance.
- Now that her hair is grown out, it has a bit of a curl to it. She wears it loose when she's at home, or in a long braid when she's out in the field.
- Always wears a lab coat over her clothes. Favors loose clothes and skirts when dressed casually and sturdy clothes and pants when out in the field.
- Wears a pair of bright red glasses on a chain around her neck. Often misplaces them on top of her head.
- Wears a necklace with two feathers on it underneath her clothes.
- Gets stiff and sore in bad weather due to old injuries. No matter what she wears, it's long enough to cover up her old scars.
- Constantly hears a quiet ringing in her ears.

Roster

Her roster is in a constant state of flux as she catches and trains various Pokémon for her research. Two staples are her Meganium, which was her starter, and a Gallade that she bred to assist in her research.
